In-Person Teen Group
Personal Profile

For Teens:

We meet in person in a small group for 1 hour and 15 minutes one evening each week. We see and are seen, listen and speak. Through increasing understanding of each other and ourselves, we build trust with each other.
In group psychotherapy, teens can be reflective and put their experiences into perspective by expressing their thoughts and feelings. By experiencing, observing, and participating, teens can notice how they see themselves and others in group. This leads to diminishing isolation and a greater sense of belonging. Increasing self-assurance can bring teens greater insight and lead to healthier, more-successful decision-making.

I take a practical interpersonal psychodynamic approach to teen-focused process groups.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss the in-person teen group. The group meets in Albany at the border of North Berkeley. For a free half-hour consultation, fill out the contact form on this website or use the phone number or email address shown there.
